Specializing in Open Source software, Matt has worked on a wide variety of projects, including embedding Linux in set-top boxes and developing advanced search engines based on artificial intelligence and medical informatics technologies. Matt is involved in several Open Source communities, including OpenCms, Gentoo Linux, and RT (Request Tracker). In addition to his software development, Matt has worked as a freelance journalist covering areas of interest to the Open Source community. When Matt is not working, he enjoys exploring Colorado with his wife and his two daughters.
